Wizards’ Bradley Beal (leg) sees consecutive games streak end at 194
Wizards coach Scott Brooks said the injury is “nothing serious. Hopefully, he’ll be back next game, but don’t know that. Day-to-day from today. He feels better today.”
Gary Payton II, who was signed on Monday, started in Beal’s place. The Wizards lost to the Knicks 107-100.
Brooks said that forwards Davis Bertans (quad), Rui Hachimura (groin) and center Moritz Wagner (ankle) would all be out for at least the next week.
Washington’s next game is Monday at home against the Miami Heat.
