Star-studded showdown

Top Recruit
DE Carl Lawson, Class of 2013
After being named a five-star and the No. 5 overall prospect in the ESPN 150, Lawson backed it up on the camp circuit, where the Auburn pledge was unstoppable in almost every matchup. And through seven games this fall, the 6-foot-2, 251-pound defensive end has already exceeded his 15-sack junior season, having taken down the quarterback 17 times to date. The elite pass-rusher has been a constant nuisance in the opponent’s backfield all season long.

Other Top Recruits
RB Peyton Barber, Class of 2013
The Ole Miss commit missed most of his junior season with a high-ankle sprain, but has enjoyed a healthy and productive senior season, rushing for 1,148 yards and 16 touchdowns on 148 carries.

OT Eason Fromayan, Class of 2013
Fromayan is an athletic lineman who is adept at holding his blocks through the whistle. The 6-5, 270-pound three-star prospect is committed to TCU.

OL Cory Helms, Class of 2013
The 6-3, 299-pound interior lineman is committed to Wake Forest, and is known for wearing down defensive linemen with his physical style of play.

OL Josh Harris, Class of 2013
Harris, who is also committed to Wake Forest, is a 6-foot-4, 300-pound guard who is adept at getting to the second level to make key blocks in the running game.

WR Malik Mitchell, Class of 2013
The 6-3, 190-pound wideout has been largely flying under the radar in Georgia, but has offers from Toledo and Western Michigan so far.

RB Treyvon Paulk, Class of 2014
The 5-9, 190-pound junior has rushed for 645 yards and nine touchdowns on 94 carries and is approaching double-digit offers.

OL Nick Wilson, Class of 2015
Only a sophomore, the 6-3, 275-pound offensive lineman has already been offered by Tennessee and North Carolina.

Top Recruit
RB Tyren Jones, Class of 2013
As a junior, Jones was the leading rusher in Georgia, racking up 2,373 yards and scored 38 touchdowns for the AAAAA state runner-up. This season, the Alabama commitment has 1,547 yards and 15 touchdowns for the Raiders. In his first two games as a senior, Jones had back-to-back games with over 300 yards rushing.

OL Brandon Kublanow, Class of 2013
Kublanow is known as one of the most physically dominant blockers in the 2013 class. The 6-3, 290-pound lineman is playing offensive tackle as a senior, but will likely play center or guard next year at Georgia. His potential matchup against Lawson should be a battle in the trenches, as Kublanow reported a 460-pound bench press, 580-pound squat and 340-pound power clean back in August.

QB Parker McLeod, Class of 2013
The Alabama commitment sprained his ankle last month, and has missed the last few games. It is unknown if he will be able to play Friday.

OL Jake Boynton, Class of 2013
Even though he played for a high-profile program, the athletic 6-6, 270-pound offensive lineman went mostly under the radar before committing to Kentucky in June.

CB D.J. Smith, Class of 2014
Smith is a rare commodity — a tall cornerback that can also make plays in the return game. Seven programs have already offered the ESPN Watch List defensive back, and the 5-11, 175-pound junior will likely have several more a year from now.
