Sources: Portland Trail Blazers’ Cody Zeller expected to miss 8-to-10 weeks after knee surgery
Zeller had the procedure in Los Angeles with Dr. Neal ElAttrache.
The veteran big man is averaging 5.2 points and 4.6 rebounds in 13.1 minutes for Portland, which signed him to a one-year deal in the offseason.
It’s the latest bad injury news for the Trail Blazers, who remain without Damian Lillard (abdominal surgery) and also were without CJ McCollum (collapsed lung) for an extended period.
Portland entered Tuesday night’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves with a 20-26 record.
