Russell Wilson, Seahawks strike fast with 55-yard TD pass to David Moore

Something finally did midway through the fourth quarter when Wilson connected with a wide-open David Moore for a 55-yard touchdown, cutting Buffalo’s lead to 41-27. It was Wilson’s first passing TD of the game, and it followed three turnovers from the first-half MVP front-runner.

Wilson threw a pair of interceptions, lost a fumble on a strip sack and rushed for a touchdown before hitting Moore.

According to ESPN Stats & Information, Buffalo entered Sunday as the only team in the NFL that hadn’t allowed a touchdown pass thrown 20-plus yards downfield since the start of 2018.

Wilson’s throw to Moore was 55 air yards, the most on a passing TD since 2018 (Minnesota’s Kirk Cousins to Stefon Diggs).
