NFL Week 15 fantasy football inactives watch for Saturday: Who’s in and who’s out?

Who should start? Who should sit? To help you set your fantasy football lineups and avoid starting a player who won’t be in the lineup, we’ll post fantasy-relevant updates and analysis here as NFL teams release their inactives, typically about 90 minutes before kickoff. Any rankings cited in this column come from our ESPN Fantasy staff ranks.

Refresh often for the latest information.

Christian McCaffrey, RB, CAR: Thigh — OUT
Impact: Déjà vu? Mike Davis will start in what should be a pretty good matchup for his fantasy value.

Curtis Samuel, WR, CAR: Hamstring — Active
Impact: DJ Moore returns from the reserve/COVID-19 so the Panthers will have their top three receivers available.

Tre Boston, S, CAR: Hamstring — Active

Malik Taylor, WR, GB: Hamstring — Active
Impact: Marquez Valdes-Scantling is coming off a six-catch Week 14. Allen Lazard remains limited in practice but is active as well making Taylor a depth option only.

Jace Sternberger, TE, GB: Concussion — OUT
Impact: Robert Tonyan and Marcedes Lewis become a two-headed TE option, rather than Green Bay’s typical “Cerberus” approach to the position.

Lee Smith, TE, BUF: Knee — Active
Impact: Dawson Knox leads a sad Bills TE contingent that has combined for only 31 catches this season.

John Brown, WR, BUF: Ankle — OUT/IR
Impact: He’s eligible to come off IR and has returned to practice but is not yet ready to play.

Melvin Gordon III, RB, DEN: Shoulder — Active
Impact: Expected to play and will likely split the workload fairly evenly with …

Phillip Lindsay, RB, DEN: Hip — Active
Impact: … a banged-up Lindsay, whom everybody expects to suit up on Saturday.

Brandon McManus, K, DEN: Illness — OUT/IR
Impact: McManus (reserve/COVID-19 list) might have been eligible to play on Sunday, but with the earlier-than-normal action, Taylor Russolino will handle the kicking duties for Denver.

Official Saturday inactives should be reported approximately 90 minutes before the scheduled kickoff time of each individual contest.
