The second-year wing scored a season-high 27 points last night in a win over the Thunder, good for his fifth 20-point showing of the season. Davis was acquired from the Toronto Raptors at the deadline and was mostly serving a quiet bench role until injuries propelled him into a position as a significant scoring option.
Davis has averaged 19.4 points with strong complementary stats during his past five games for a Sacramento offense in need of his production. If the Kings remain so depleted by injuries, Davis could continue to shine as a top streaming option for fantasy managers.

The Lakers gutted out an overtime win over the Knicks, thanks in part to the deft distribution skills of Talen Horton-Tucker. The second-year wing tallied 13 points and 10 dimes off the pine for Los Angeles last night and became the first Lakers player with multiple games off the bench with 10 points and 10 assists in a season since Magic Johnson in 1995-96. There is some intriguing playmaking upside with Horton-Tucker that could be realized if he becomes a starter next season.
Golden State’s Andrew Wiggins scored 38 in a big win over the Suns, marking his second-most points in a game since joining the Warriors. Wiggins shot a career-best 70.8% from the floor in the win. Draymond Green, meanwhile, delivered his 30th career triple-double. The Warriors are 29-1 when he has recorded a triple-double. Among players with at least 25 career triple-doubles, that’s the best record when recording a triple-double in NBA history.
Many missed games due to COVID protocols left too little time for them to mesh, as the Nikola Vucevic and Zach LaVine pairing for the Bulls hasn’t been so impressive yet. However, LaVine was dazzling as a scorer last night with his 14th 40-point game as a member of the Bulls, breaking a tie with Bob Love and now trailing Michael Jordan by … just 151 40-point performances for the franchise lead.
One fun bit of trivia for Detroit Pistons fans to enjoy this offseason is that after last night’s performance, Saddiq Bey now has 13 games with at least five 3s made this season, the most by a rookie in NBA history. Stephen Curry and Allen Iverson are next on the list with nine apiece.
The Hawks are holding out De’Andre Hunter as he builds back up for the playoffs. Danilo Gallinari should serve a healthy scoring role against the Wizards.
Utah’s Donovan Mitchell isn’t expected to return before the conclusion of the regular season. Mike Conley is listed as out for tonight’s game due to a hamstring injury. Jordan Clarkson and Joe Ingles figure to finish strongly.
Brooklyn’s Kyrie Irving left last night’s win over the Bulls due to a facial contusion. We’ll find out later if Irving will play against the Spurs tonight.
Zion Williamson won’t play against the Mavericks this evening. Brandon Ingram is listed as doubtful to play. Looking deeper into rotation dynamics for the Pelicans, we find Jaxson Hayes nets a team-high 7.2% leap in usage with Williamson and Ingram off the floor this season.
Forward James Johnson enjoys a team-high 16 more DraftKings points per 36 minutes in such lineup looks, suggesting both he and Hayes make for solid streaming candidates against Dallas.
Bradley Beal won’t play for the Wizards again this evening due to an injury. This means Russell Westbrook can deliver another vintage triple-double showing while chasing around the slippery Trae Young on screens all night. Young, meanwhile, is looking to position the Hawks with homecourt in the first round of the playoffs.
