Daniel Thomas’ blocked punt touchdown puts Jaguars ahead of Chargers
Thomas came up the middle — sliding between Emeke Egbule and Uchenna Nwosu — and blocked Ty Long‘s punt. Thomas was then able to find the ball, pick it up at the Chargers’ 16-yard line and return it for a touchdown to give the Jaguars a 21-16 lead less than two minutes into the quarter. The Jaguars have scored 21 unanswered points since falling behind 16-0 early.
