Daily Fantasy Basketball: Late lineup notes for Feb. 26

Pau Gasol goes from a GPP/so-so cash-game pick to a great selection for either daily fantasy site, but especially on DraftKings.

E’Twaun Moore becomes an option, assuming he’s starting in Jimmy Butler‘s place again. This is pretty much only on FanDuel though.

If Rajon Rondo (questionable) doesn’t play …

DeMarcus Cousins, who was already a great pick and atop of my projections in terms of fantasy points, becomes an even greater selection.

Rudy Gay would get a bump, as would backup point guard Darren Collison. Just keep an eye on this one.

If you think about the rematch of the Lakers and Grizzlies …

Don’t only think about Matt Barnes (who I still think is a good pick) but also consider the similarly priced D’Angelo Russell, who had 22 points, eight assists and four rebounds in Wednesday’s game. I know it’s just one game, but he’s in a great spot again tonight to over-perform his price expectations, as his coach already announced he’s starting.

If you want to know what happened to my model with Paul Pierce ruled out …

DeAndre Jordan became an even better pick, and so did J.J. Redick. My model puts a double-double as a likely output for Jordan against the Kings.

If you want to know which power forward I prefer in the Magic at Knicks game …

It’s the “Unicorn.” Kristaps Porzingis‘ minutes seem to be trending in the right direction, and I think he’ll be a tough matchup for dunk contest standout Aaron Gordon.
