Brewers OF Ryan Braun leaves game due to dizziness

After the game, Braun said his dizziness was the result of fluid in his ear.

“I had fluid built up in my left ear and got some medicine. I should be fine,” Braun said. “That’s what caused me to be dizzy and light-headed.”

Braun, who is hitting .261 with 13 home runs and 40 RBIs, left the game having gone 0-for-2 with a strikeout.

He was removed in the sixth inning when Hernan Perez pinch hit for him.

The 31-year-old slugger has previously dealt with dizziness; in 2008, he battled an inner-ear infection.

Brewers manager Craig Counsell said Braun is “day to day.”
