Source: Spike Lee is latest guest speaker for Saints
Lee complimented Drew Brees for standing up to President Donald Trump last week and then spoke for 45 minutes about his experiences in race relations before asking the players whether they had any questions, the source said.
New Orleans coach Sean Payton — who is from Chicago — joked that he liked Lee until he found out he was a New York Knicks fan.
Snoop Dogg and Shaquille O’Neal previously had been brought in by the Saints as guest speakers in recent weeks.
