Minnesota Matchup: The Mavericks face Timberwolves at Target Center tonight. For Dallas has had success against Minnesota so far this season, making for some interesting fringe fantasy plays. Maxi Kleber (98% available) averaged 9.5 rebounds in 27.4 MPG in his two games against Minnesota so far. The Timberwolves rank 19th in rebounding percentage. For those seeking prop targets,, Spencer Dinwiddie has exceeded his scoring prop in four of the past five games. For Minnesota, Patrick Beverley (82%) enters the matchup with strong DFS value given he nearly notched 30 DraftKings points against Dallas in a close loss a few days ago.

Mann Up: The Clippers host the 76ers this evening in a game that will feature Philly’s star power against LA’s depth. Terance Mann (76% available) has become quietly valuable for fantasy purposes in recent games. He’s averaged 18 PPG, 7.3 RPG, and 4.5 APG over the past four games. With Philly lacking wing defense beyond Matisse Thybulle, Mann is in a strong spot to help fantasy teams. Speaking of players with the last name Mann, Oklahoma City’s Tre Mann (92%) has averaged 23.5 points over the past week and could be a great pickup heading into a matchup with Denver tomorrow.

Take It To The Eubanks: The Blazers are a tough team to watch these days, but that doesn’t mean they are void of fantasy difference makers. Portland inked Drew Eubanks (over 85% available) to a fourth consecutive 10-day deal and he’s playing like a real asset. His minutes have increased in each of his past three games and over that four-game stretch, he’s averaging 16.8 PPG on 65% shooting with 7.8 RPG. That shooting percentage is unlikely to be stable for the long-term but at this point in the season we are in the short-term business and he has a back-to-back against the Rockets over the next two days.

Not Dunn: Beyond Eubanks’ impressive production, Portland has also unearthed some solid play from former lottery pick Kris Dunn (97% available). Dunn is still a strong defensive presence and has posted multiple steals in four of his six games with the Trail Blazers this season. With Josh Hart and Anfernee Simons dealing with injuries, Dunn could flirt with 30 minutes tonight and is a nice target for defensive and assist props.

Act Quickley: Between endless injuries and mounting losses, the Knicks haven’t had a very fun season, but as Zach Lowe noted in this week’s edition of 10 NBA Things, the emergence of Immanuel Quickley (87% available) as a playmaker has been a rare bright spot. Quickley has averaged 21 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per 36 minutes on 47% shooting over the past five weeks. If Julius Randle misses the game, Obi Toppin (98%) would also become valuable. For those seeking some cost certainty, Alec Burks (81%) has regularly topped 30 minutes and might be the safest streaming play on the roster.

Dallas Mavericks at Minnesota Timberwolves
8 p.m. ET, Target Center, Minneapolis, MN

Line: Timberwolves (-2)
Moneyline: Timberwolves (-125), Mavericks (+105)
Total: 227.5 points
BPI Projected Total: 227 points
BPI Win%: Timberwolves (62.1%)

Key players ruled out: Trey Burke, Davis Bertans

Questionable: Karl-Anthony Towns

Doug Kezirian and Joe Fortenbaugh break down all their favorite basketball plays for the NCAA Sweet 16 and NBA slate on Friday night. Listen!

Notable: Unders have come through in seven of Dallas’ past nine games, including each of the past two (both of which they covered the spread).

Best Bet: Under 228.5 points. The Mavericks and Timberwolves have played three times this season, including just four days ago. Each of the final scores have totaled 216, 216 and 218 points respectively. Dallas has been one of the best defensive teams in the NBA this season and both teams are battling for playoff seeding. I expect this game to have the feel of a postseason matchup where physicality and defense are paramount. — André Snellings

Utah Jazz at Charlotte Hornets
7 p.m. ET, Spectrum Center, Charlotte, NC

Line: Jazz (-3.5)
Moneyline: Jazz (-160), Hornets (+140)
Total: 231 points
BPI Projected Total: 230 points
BPI Win%: Jazz (55%)

Key players ruled out: Bojan Bogdanovic

Notable: The Jazz are just 1-7 ATS in their past eight road games, with six of those games going under the total.

Best Bet: Donovan Mitchell over 28.5 points. Mitchell has four consecutive 30-point games, tied for the longest streak of his career. Mitchell averaged 23 FGA and 36 MPG over that time frame. He’ll be heavily relied upon against the Hornets. This season, shooting guards against Charlotte have averaged 22.5 PPG. Mitchell will likely exceed that mark. — Eric Moody

Washington Wizards at Detroit Pistons

Line: Pistons (-2.5)
Moneyline: Pistons (-145), Wizards (+125)
Total: 219 points
BPI Projected Total: 224.5 points
BPI Win%: Pistons (70.5%)

Key players ruled out: Kyle Kuzma

Notable: The Pistons are 6-0-1 ATS in their past seven games that have gone under the total.

Fantasy Streamer: Raul Neto (98% available) In a deeper format, consider Neto as a matchup-based streamer. He has averaged 8.0 PPG, 5.5 RPG, 1.0 SPG and 22 MPG over the past four games. Point guards have averaged 22.3 PPG, 10 RPG, 5.0 APG, 1.5 SPG, and 1.0 BPG against the Pistons this season. — Moody

Best bet: Pistons -2.5. The Pistons laid an egg as the heavy favorite on Monday against the Trail Blazers, but bounced back to blow out the Hawks on Wednesday. Those two games made them 13-1-2 against the spread since Valentine’s Day. In addition, BPI projects the Pistons as 6.5 point favorites in a game where they’re only giving 2.5 points. — Snellings

Golden State Warriors at Atlanta Hawks
7:30 p.m. ET, State Farm Arena, Atlanta, GA

Key players ruled out: Andre Iguodala, Stephen Curry

Notable: Unders are 7-3 in Atlanta’s past nine games, a stretch in which the Hawks have covered just twice.

Best bet: Jordan Poole over 31.5 points + assists + rebounds. Poole has scored 20 or more points in 11 straight games. He also averaged 5.0 APG and 3.3 RPG. Poole will continue to get minutes with Stephen Curry out and the Hawks rank 26th in points allowed per 100 possessions. — Moody

New York Knicks at Miami Heat
8 p.m. ET, FTX Arena, Miami, FL

Line: Heat (-5.5)
Moneyline: Heat (-230), Knicks (+190)
Total: 215.5 points
BPI Projected Total: 210 points
BPI Win%: Heat (63.2%)

Key players ruled out: Victor Oladipo, Gabe Vincent, Nerlens Noel

Questionable: Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro, Caleb Martin, P.J. Tucker

Notable: The Heat have failed to cover five straight games, but at least the past few have been exciting, as they’ve cashed three consecutive overs.

Houston Rockets at Portland Trail Blazers
10 p.m. ET, Moda Center, Portland, OR

Line: Rockets (-3.5)
Moneyline: Rockets (-160), Blazers (+140)
Total: 235.5 points
BPI Projected Total: 217 points
BPI Win%: Rockets (54.3%)

Key players ruled out: Anfernee Simons

Questionable: Josh Hart, Justice Winslow

Notable: The Blazers may be just 4-9 ATS over their past 13, but it’s been far from boring: five of their past seven games have gone over the total.

Fantasy Streamer: Alperen Sengun. Sengun has thrived with Houston’s second unit. He has averaged 12 PPG, 8 RPG, 2 APG, 1.0 SPG and 1.3 BPG in 23 MPG over the past four games. The good times should keep going for Sengun against a Trail Blazers team that ranks 29th in points allowed per 100 possessions and allows opponents to shoot a high effective field goal percentage. — Moody

Fantasy Streamer: Trendon Watford (80.1% available) could potentially be in for a larger role tonight, with Justise Winslow (calf) questionable after leaving Wednesday’s game early. In the last four games that Winslow has missed, Watford has averaged 22 PPG, 6.5 RPG, 2.0 APG, 1.0 SPG, 1.5 BPG and 1.3 3PG in 35 MPG. — Snellings

Philadelphia 76ers at LA Clippers
10:30 p.m. ET, Crypto.com Arena, Los Angeles, CA

Line: 76ers (-5.5)
Moneyline: 76ers (-250), Clippers (+205)
Total: 221.5 points
BPI Projected Total: 217 points
BPI Win%: 76ers (64.2%)

Key players ruled out: none

Questionable: Robert Covington

Notable: The Clippers enter this game having failed to cover four straight (they’ve allowed at least 120 points in three of those four games).

Best Bet: Joel Embiid over 42.5 points + assists + rebounds. Embiid has averaged 30.4 PPG and 12 RPG with a usage rate of 37% over the past 12 games. He should feast on a Clippers team that allows the sixth-most PPG and seventh-most RPG to centers Embiid will have plenty of chances to destroy this prop tonight. — Moody
